ABOUT The Distribute Collective,

The Distribute Collective is a group of community and agricultural based entities located in the West Side of Atlanta. The Collective is committed to getting food to the people. This Collective came to be during the Summer of COVID19 as a response to the additional neglect that Black communities in the SWATs endured when food security became further limited due to the fears associated with COVID. As people residing, working ,playing and doing business in these communities we found it vital that we offer solutions to the problems we and others were experiencing. Though the Collective is new in this formation, each entity has personal and professional ties to each other and have worked together over the last decade in food and land liberation work for Black folks in Atlanta and beyond.
